Anime is a term for a style of Japanese comic book and video cartoon animation in which the main characters have large doe-like eyes. The word anime is the pronunciation of animation in Japanese, where this term references all animation. Here you will find Anime/ Manga Art Sketches. In addition to TV shows and movies, anime includes video games that tell stories through action. Over the past few years, shows like Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, One piece, SpyxFamily, Jujutsu kaizen and other popular shows have brought the anime scene into the mainstream media. One of the most common misconceptions when it comes to anime is that it’s all about Japan. Some people may consider that as anime is animated, it is generally for kids but that’s far from the truth. Even though anime is generally aimed for teens, it doesn’t mean that adults can’t enjoy it. The websites where you can watch anime legally are Crunchyroll, Funimation, Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. Most of these websites are subscription oriented.

So what is manga? And how is anime related to manga? Manga is generally termed as Japanese comic books and graphic novels. Most of the anime are based upon their manga. Anime is animation. Manga is print. That is the difference. The most important thing to remember about manga is there is something for everyone. Whether you like high school romantic comedies or high-fantasy epics, there is a manga for you. People may find it hard to read a manga volume if it is their first time as Japanese manga don’t work as most of the western comics do. Manga is read from back to front and right to left, completely different from comic books. As said earlier, many anime’s plots and stories are based upon their manga. For example, the show Naruto is produced by the studio : Studio Pierrot based on the manga Naruto written by Mashashi Kishimoto. So what are the most popular manga? Some of the highest rated manga include Naruto, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, One Piece, Chainsaw man, Horimiya and Dragon ball Z.
